Scuba webbing is a versatile material, and this scuba duty belt is no exception. It's made with a blend of Nylon and Polypropylene. Polypropylene is a thermoplastic polymer used in a wide variety of applications that can be around water. Nylon is a tough, lightweight, elastic synthetic polymer. Uses of this webbing include diving, carpenter, and utility belts, military and tactical utility, and more! If you need heavy-duty webbing that doesn't fold or roll over, scuba webbing is a great choice due to its sturdy, stiff weave. Thanks to its rugged design, this webbing is used to provide safety and toughness. We recommend you use 2-inch hardware with this webbing. ( D-Rings, Buckle, Triglides etc.) These hardware items are designed with a specific webbing size in mind. Tensile strength is the average breaking point under good conditions at the factory. We strongly recommend that you use no more than 50% of the tensile strength of any webbing.
