The Hypro 3350 Series Nylon Line Strainers will filter out debris that is drawn into your pump. They are designed for suction and higher pressure applications, capable of achieving 150 psi at 70° F and 100 psi at 125° F.
The Hypro 3350-0035 Nylon Line Strainer / Suction Strainer can be installed on the inlet side of the pump. It also can be installed on either the inlet or discharge side of a centrifugal pump, but you must consider the strainer's flow capacity, pressure rating, and other installation factors.
In order to clean the strainer without having to remove it from the line just unscrew the bowl from the cap, remove the screen, and flush away any sediment. To reassemble, fit the screen to the flange in the bowl and tighten. NOTE: These strainers are NOT designed for fatigue-loading applications (eg. water-softeners).
